In March 2023 my partner, Ana Belén Diaz Sacco, and I traveled to Acunsíon, Paraguay for a month to help out and put on a series of shows with her band EEEKS. In collaboration with Aharon Emery and Mucho Flow, a creative event team in PY, I helped create immersive sculptures for a 2 night EEEKS event held at Nhi-Mu Teatro Aéreo. The first few rows of images were taken in Tobatí, Paraguay showing some of the “making of” which was a wild 5 day period from concept to install. Then are some images from the two shows at Nhi-Mu. It was a music/play/immersive art show extravaganza that will live in my heart forever! After that are some images of illustrations I did for EEEKS merch: cups, shirts and tote bags along with the surfaces they ended up on. My final project was making a giant xl slip-on, in collaboration with Mucho Flow, for the Vans booth at Asunciónico, one of the country’s big annual music festivals. We had 3 days to come up with the concept and fabricate. All in all it turned out great!
